Community garden
Growing together, harvesting together
At the community garden, we plant vegetables and grow connections: a project open to all generations.
The project
A shared patch of land
The Auvergnois community garden offers plots to cultivate, shared tools and moments of mutual help throughout the growing season.
Beginner or green thumb, alone or with family: everyone finds their place. Harvests are shared, and so is advice.
- Individual plots and collective spaces
- Gardening workshops through the season
- Educational activities with École Boréale
- Sharing surplus produce with the community
The season
How does it work?
Spring
Registration, plot assignment, soil preparation and first seedlings as soon as the prairie warms up.
Summer
Care, watering and workshops; the garden becomes a meeting place where chatting matters as much as weeding.
Fall
Harvests, preserves and a closing celebration: we celebrate the season and prepare the soil for next year.
